Bio
Kerry was born in Louisville, Kentucky. He earned his bachelor’s degree in history, graduating cum laude from Western Kentucky University, where he participated in the history honors program. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law. While in law school, he was a member of the university’s National Moot Court Team, which advanced to the final round of the National Moot Court Competition. He also received the Leland Award for Best Oral Argument in the University of Kentucky’s internal moot court competition.
Kerry is the former chair of the Kentucky Bar Association’s Attorneys’ Advertising Commission and is a past president of the McCracken County Bar Association.
Kerry holds an AV® Preeminent rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory, reflecting the highest level of professional excellence and ethical standards as rated by his peers.
