G. Kent Price

A native of Paducah, Kentucky, Kent graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown College where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in American Studies and received the Dean’s Honor Award.  He earned his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School.  He is a member and past president of the McCracken County Bar Association and is also a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Kent’s legal practice focuses primarily on representing municipal electric utilities and governmental boards and commissions, handling residential and commercial real estate transactions, and assisting clients in probate and estate planning matters.

Kent is a past president and board member of United Way of Paducah-McCracken County, Market House Theatre, Paducah Lions Club, and Paducah-McCracken County Habitat for Humanity.  He previously served on the board of directors of an area bank, the Kentucky Bar Foundation, and Leadership Paducah Foundation.  Kent is a trustee of the McCracken County Law Library and previously served as treasurer of the Troop 1 Committee, Lincoln Heritage Council, of the Boy Scouts of America.  He has also been a deacon, elder, and trustee of his church.
